Laser-templated, cut in our own shop and installed by our own crew — most kitchens are finished in a single day, usually one to three weeks from the day you sign.
Countertop Installation Services
Tops fabricates and installs kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, fireplace surrounds and commercial surfaces throughout the South Sound. Because we template, cut and install in-house, nobody hands your project to a subcontractor halfway through — the measurements our technician takes go straight to our own saw.
Most countertop installations are completed in less than a day, including removal of your existing countertops. Your surfaces are ready to use as soon as our installers pack up, and plumbing can be reconnected the following day once the sink has cured.
We install for homeowners, builders, designers and commercial clients across Thurston, Pierce, Mason, Kitsap, Lewis and Grays Harbor counties, from our fabrication facility in Lacey.
Our Process
A measure technician laser-templates your finished space, confirming edge profile, sink placement, seams and overhangs with the decisionmaker on site.
Your slab is cut on our in-house BACA Robosaw, then edges are shaped and polished and your sink is mounted in the shop, not on your kitchen floor.
We remove the old countertops if needed, set and level the new surface, color-match epoxy to your stone at the seams, and caulk the finished edges.
We review the finished space with you before we leave, then hand off to your plumber for reconnection the next day.

Most projects are completed within one to three weeks from the time paperwork is signed, depending on material availability, project complexity and scheduling. Installation day itself is normally under a day, even when we’re removing existing countertops. Your sales representative will give you a specific timeline for your project.
Yes. We offer countertop tear-out and disposal on many projects — ask your sales representative for details and pricing. We recommend having a plumber disconnect fixtures before removal day.
No. We mount sinks and drill faucet holes, but plumbing reconnection must be completed by a licensed plumber after installation — and sinks need a 24-hour cure first. All plumbing, gas and electrical should be disconnected before your installation date. We’re glad to refer someone.
Clear a pathway to the installation area, remove loose rugs and dry any wet floors, and keep children and pets out of the work space. Schedule other trades — flooring, painting, concrete — on different days. Opening a window helps with dust and odor, since stone occasionally has to be cut or polished on site.
As soon as our installers finish. Plumbing gets reconnected the next day after the sink cures, and if you’re adding a tile backsplash, that runs on its own schedule and takes additional days.
Every project includes a one-year craftsmanship warranty covering fabrication and workmanship issues, such as seam separation from a fabrication defect or a sink attachment failure caused by installation. It doesn’t cover chips, abuse, excessive heat, settling or scratches. Your material may also carry its own manufacturer warranty.
